Tying the Knot!

(Breathes in deeply and exhales) “Finally…!”

Yes, I feel more relieved than excited about my wedding. I guess that happens when you’re engaged for more than 4 years! I am so glad that Robyn and I can finally get married.

The wedding will be happening next year, 7 February 2015.

Next year is a year of transition for Robyn and I. If all goes as planned, we will be going to the States for 4 years so that I can complete my Masters in Divinity at Southern Seminary. I plan to begin my first semester at Southern in August 2015 so moving will happen a month or two earlier.

It’s all very exciting and overwhelming at the same time. There will be many new things for Robyn and I to learn and explore together (Oh yeah!). The question “How was your day dear?” will not be trite or boring, well, at least not for the first few months, I would think. But we both know that we still need the support of our family and friends. We are deeply grateful for the people God has placed in our lives.

Please keep us in your prayers. Please pray that:

1. God will be glorified in our decision making. May His will be done and not ours.
2. I will do well for the first year, here in Malaysia, so that I can pursue (move on!) higher theological education.
3. God will be Robyn’s comfort and strength as she works as a HO in Singapore till April 2015.
4. Robyn and I will honour God in our preparations for the wedding.
