Dear ministry partners, friends, and family, I hope you’ve been doing well! Thanks to your support, I’ve been in the Church Ministers’ Apprenticeship (CMA) program for 4 months now, and it’s been a humble privilege. A privilege, because I get to devote every hour to directly building up God’s people; humbling, because the more I seek to love God’s people, the more I see how much I fall short, and how much more I still need to learn to competently care for His sheep.
In CMA, there’s never a dull moment. We’re always moving from ministry to ministry, working hard to grow His church here in Malaysia. I currently have the privilege to take care of the following ministries:
- SOLIDD Online, an online fellowship for university students in Malaysia who don’t have a Christian Fellowship in their unis- we seek to learn the deep things of God in fun and creative ways – check us out!
- UKM Christian Fellowship – a CF where everyone is a medical student. Despite busy schedules, these future doctors meet weekly to learn from the one who truly saves lives – Jesus Christ.
- Sunday School – I oversee the weekly teaching of these 10-12 year-olds. It’s amazing how much they can process at a young age, and how much skill it takes to help these little people grow in Christ.
- TGG Original – a group of students from various universities across the Klang Valley – we meet every Saturday to dig deep into God’s word.
- Serving as a partner of the Gospel Growth Fellowship (GGF) at its premier conference, Thinking Theologically Conference! GGF is a parachurch that has been immensely contributing to the growth of churches in Malaysia.
- Continuing to pastor my wife in marriage as we continue to work together to love His people.
The CMA program has been a humble privilege, giving me the opportunity to care for God’s people from Sunday School to university students to working adults. Thank you for your support, and I pray that you’ve been encouraged to grow in your love for the Lord and His people through my humble life.
