We love being the bosses of our own lives. We hate it when our parents tell us what to do. We hate it when our bosses give us our performance evaluation.
We don’t like answering to anyone. We want to be independent.
Are we being true to who we are?
God had created human beings to be bearers of His glorious image and to live under His good rule. The Fall, when human beings chose to be independent from the rule of God, has since warped this image. What does that tell us about humanity?
