Faith in Christ (and repentance)

You might have heard or even uttered some of these common phrases about faith.

Be it in worship songs or said to you by a well-meaning friend in times of crisis, faith has always been one of the more popular topics in our Christian circles. Expressed in many ways and forms, it has become quite difficult to define faith.

That said, it's vital that we see what faith really is from God's word, because an understanding of faith that is not in accordance to that, no matter how exuberant, would be false.
