We need quality leaders for God's ministry, because that's how the sanctity of the gospel is protected.
We are called to wage the good warfare (1 Tim 1:18), fight the good fight of the faith (1 Tim 6:12), and guard the deposit of the gospel that has been passed down from Jesus and His apostles and is now entrusted to us (1 Tim 6:20). To do this, good and faithful leadership is essential.
While the world looks to confidence, eloquence, or even tolerance as key characteristics of great leaders, the Apostle Paul presents a very different set of requirements for the faithful church leader. Want to know what Paul instructed?
Psalm 119:1-24; 1 Timothy 3:14-16; 1 Timothy 1:1-20; Acts 20:16-38; Psalm 37; 1 Timothy 6:3-21; 1 Timothy 3
